Welcome to TryItOnTattoo. By downloading, accessing, or using the TryItOnTattoo mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using the App in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of someone else, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person to these Terms.
Description of Service
TryItOnTattoo is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to generate photorealistic previews of tattoos on your body. You upload a photo and a tattoo design, and the App generates a preview showing how the tattoo could look on your skin.
The previews generated by the App are AI-generated approximations and may differ from how an actual tattoo would appear when applied by a tattoo artist. The App is intended to help with creative exploration and decision-making, not to replace consultation with a professional tattoo artist.
Account and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You may use the App anonymously or by signing in with Apple or Google. If you sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Subscription and Payments
The App offers optional subscriptions that unlock additional features:
- Weekly subscription: $6.99 per week
- Yearly subscription: $49.99 per year
Both subscriptions include 50 AI-generated previews per week, HD preview quality, save and share functionality, and access to all new features as they're added.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. Refund requests are handled directly by Apple through the App Store.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price change will be communicated in advance and will only apply to subscription renewals after the change takes effect.
User Content
When you upload photos or tattoo designs to the App, you retain ownership of your content. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process the content for the purpose of generating tattoo previews.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you upload:
- Does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
- Does not contain illegal, offensive, or harmful material
- Is not pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate
- Does not include identifiable images of other people without their consent
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these content guidelines.
AI-Generated Content
The previews generated by the App are produced by AI models and are intended for personal use. While we strive for photorealistic results, AI-generated previews may not perfectly represent how a tattoo will actually look when applied to your skin. Factors such as skin tone, lighting, body contours, healing, and individual artist execution can affect the final result.
Always consult with a licensed tattoo artist before getting a permanent tattoo. The App is a creative tool, not a guarantee of how a tattoo will look in real life.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App to generate content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
- Use the App to generate content depicting violence, hate symbols, or harassment
- Attempt to bypass the subscription paywall or manipulate the App's billing system
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit content generated through the App without our express permission
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the App
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, branding, and all related content, is owned by TryItOnTattoo and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.
The AI-generated previews are produced from your input. You may use these previews for personal purposes, including sharing with tattoo artists or on social media. Commercial use of generated previews requires our written permission.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components
- AI-generated previews will accurately represent how a real tattoo will look
- The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations
You use the App at your own risk. Decisions about getting a real tattoo should always be made in consultation with a licensed tattoo artist.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TryItOnTattoo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Decisions made based on AI-generated previews
- Outcomes of real tattoos that differ from generated previews
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits
- Service interruptions or technical issues
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the Settings menu.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the courts of Bergen, Norway, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under applicable consumer protection regulations.
